Once I closed the pool for the year, there wasn't much left for me to do around the house in town. Bob 'n I decided the best place for us would be back at the country place. I honestly feel a healing when I am up there. It's just so calm, a wonderful stillness, away from the city noises and the calamities of a busy town. So we packed the car once more and we drove back to the cottage.
Now when your back is hurting you, you really can't do much. I am a pastry maker by trade and my job consisted of me standing all day at my station baking all kinds of goods. Well I wasn't able to stand for more than 15 minutes without getting all kinds of pains shooting thru my back and the top of my legs, so when I would cook or bake for Bob 'n I, I'd do it sitting down. Also I'd tire quickly which meant I had to lie down a lot as well. Bob just followed me around with his camera, taking shots of me doing whatever I was up to. |
