So my main task is to heal. I spent a lot of days doing really nothing much at all. Anything I would do... even going to get groceries and my legs would start to burn. So I got in a lot of sleep, read, and eat. I gained weight during this time, that I know... not a whole lot but enough to notice it... but when there's not much to do other than sleep, read, eat... well you tend to gain some weight. But I was on a leave from work and this is what I was supposed to be doing.
Nevertheless, I was up north and I was in heaven. The weather was picture perfect and I was able to go outside and enjoy the apple trees we had planted a few months back. They said the trees would take 3 years before bearing fruit but ours gave a couple of 'baby' apples. |
