Here is a trip that Bob 'n I took. It's to an area called Windigo Chute (or Falls). It's a natural water slide and it's a ton of fun. From below it doesn't seem like all that much below however once you're up there, it's a tad intimidating. Also there's a lot of rocks at the bottom however you never touch them, thankfully.
There's also other areas to discover at Windigo Falls. A small hike up the mountain and there's these beautiful mini falls all over the place. And on a warm hot and muggy July afternoon, these little falls are Heaven sent.
This small trip was an excellent way of spending a day out in the sun. It didn't cost us anything and we got to enjoy a wonder that Canada has to offer. |
